A guided ritual to honor the beginning of the dark half of the year, hosted by Shea of Martian Lune and Steph of Hexe Hilde via Zoom. The ritual will take place on September 21st, 2025 at 6:30pm CST / 7:30pm EST.

THE FRUIT & THE ROOT will honor the descent of the Sun into its fall (Libra) through Venusian, Solar, and Saturnian evocations, gratitude devotionals, candle magic, and the sharing of a ritual meal. The replay will be available for all who sign up, regardless of ability to attend the live ritual. Estimated run time will be 1 hour.

In the spirit of abundance and celebration of the bounty autumn brings, this ritual is FREE to join! Tipping is appreciated, but not expected.

What you receive when you sign up:

— a document with all invocations used in ritual

Materia suggested for the ritual:

— For those who have participated in our Spring Equinox or Summer Solstice rituals, this Autumnal Equinox ritual will utilize the elemental bridge structure created and built on before

— Saturnian herbs such as mullein, nettle, or hemp

— Venusian herbs such as damiana, coriander, or rose

— red thread or ribbon

— 1 black/grey candle for Saturn

— 1 white/green/pink candle for Venus

— a knife, pencil, stick — something to carve a sigil into your candles

— a stone (best if found in your yard, neighborhood, or general local area)

— chalk, marker, or other writing element to draw a sigil upon your stone

— additional offerings for your altar: bread, honey, squash or pumpkin, wine, etc.

— a homemade meal, treat, or drink to indulge in at the conclusion of the ritual (ex: fruit, cake, a hearty soup, etc.)

*As always, you are encouraged and welcome to substitute any and all spell components. (Ex: white candles can be a substitute for any color, cinnamon can substitute sugar.)
